I’m Chris, “I help entrepreneurs go from idea to loan to launch in 120 days”.

I'm the Founder of ZeroBlue, I connect pet care entrepreneurs with lenders from government backed loan sources including, CDFI’s, microlenders, and Community Advantage Lenders.

My sole focus is providing comprehensive technical assistance in the form virtual courses that are specifically designed to thoroughly prepare entrepreneurs to apply for small business loans and start a business.

My insight into startup capital comes from working at the Small Business Administration (SBA), a major funding source for lenders. At the SBA, I was privy to the processes for approving and denying a variety of business loans. I also worked within the SBA’s venture capital division.

But it’s not enough just to secure a loan; entrepreneurs have to be able to design a business using proven methodologies. I've had the honor of co-facilitating an exceptional startup course at one of the top colleges in the world, Columbia University in New York City.

In addition to owning businesses in the pet care industry, I’ve also provided small business loans and taught cutting-edge entrepreneurial strategies while serving as the Director of a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).

If you are interested in learning more, you can contact me directly at chris@zeroblue.co.

As a long-time employee and business owner in the pet industry, I have extensive experience with just about anything related to pets.

My area of expertise is helping pet care entrepreneurs with location considerations, marketing, operations, customer service, veterinarian relations, equipment, staffing, etc.

  • Our programs are online and available 24/7. They are also self-paced, so you can study at your convenience. The time you invest in the course will vary depending on your daily schedule, individual learning speed, and the complexity of the business you plan to start. Most students can complete the program by setting aside 3-5 hours a week.

  • The Pet Care Startup Course is based on my 20-plus years of owning businesses in the pet care industry and as a former lender.

You’ll learn how to design a business, find a startup-friendly lender, align yourself with the lender’s expectations, pitch your idea to the lender, and complete the necessary steps to launch.

The course eliminates procrastination by taking you step-by-step through the entire startup process. From day one, you will be on a mission to beat the clock and finish the program in just 120 days. All you need to do is follow along by watching our bite-sized lessons and completing the homework sections (Action Items) at the end of each lesson.

Due to the digital nature of our program we do not provide refunds.

  • While we do work with the best community development agencies in the country, we cannot guarantee that you will be approved for a loan.

  • Lenders typically expect you to invest some of your own money (an equity injection) into the business. Students should be prepared to invest between 10% and 30% (the average is 15%) of their own funds towards the total cost of starting a business.

  • Our program offers substantial value to those interested in being approved for a startup loan ranging between $10,000 and $350,000 in just 120 days.

Some businesses will start as quickly as 120 days and other businesses that are more complex, such as businesses needing to remodel a location will take longer. The optimal timeframe is 120 days, but some businesses may take six months or a year to complete the steps necessary to launch.
